Hi, I'm Merel!

Lovely to meet you! My name is pronounced Mare-uhl, it’s Dutch, like me.

I’ve always been a storyteller. Whether it’s through words, visuals, or experiences, I love creating meaning and beauty, from what’s underneath the surface. I write to understand, design to express, and share to connect.
My blog is where I pour what doesn’t fit in a pitch deck. My digital art is where my hands speak when words fall short. You could call me a creative spirit, but let’s be real: labels rarely hold the full picture. We’re all multifaceted human beings. I live a layered life: part strategy, part soul, part systems, part spark. I’m multifaceted by nature, just like you, and so is my work. This website was created as a digital home for all the things I create. To fuel your creative fire. 

If you’re looking for quick fixes, surface strategies, or someone to just nod along: I’m not your woman.
I feel what’s real, what’s aligned, and what isn’t. And I honour that in who I choose to work with, especially in my business consultancy offerings. This isn’t about ticking boxes and checklists, my help is about building something rooted, resonant, and real. And we both need to be ready for the transformation that brings.

I help people and projects remember their essence: then build from there., with them, with you! Not just what looks good, but what feels right. Not just what works, but what lasts. From deep clarity to brand storytelling, from soul-blueprints to curated rituals that shift your days, it’s all part of the same field I work in. I’ve helped entrepreneurs find their center in the chaos. I’ve given language to feelings they couldn’t name. I’ve built businesses that breathe, with structure, softness, and soul. I write articles about what I notice on my path in life, to help you realize that we all struggle.  As a kid, I was already redesigning systems that didn’t make sense. By my teens, that fire had found politics. These days, I just build what I believe in, quietly or boldly, but always with heart. And yes, I've failed plenty of times too.

Let’s just say: I don’t sit still.
